Won't Get Fooled Again
April Fool's Day inspired my week of writing this week. On Monday, I discussed how we can fool ourselves into thinking that we are financially worse off than we really are. On Tuesday, I wrote about five ways I think we get fooled into spending money. Yesterday, I shared another great, cheap meal that can help you fool your family into eating healthy and I also shared the Top 10 money fools. On Wednesday, I was excited to fill-in for my good buddy Cat (who is spending some time with those beautiful twins of hers) on Young Adult Money and I wrote about how to handle a difficult boss.
Here is what I enjoyed reading this week.
- John from Frugal Rules wrote about why financial literacy is important to him.
- Shannon at The Heavy Purse wrote about 5 smart financial moves to make this spring.
- Petrish at Debt Free Martini wrote about how she adjusted her behaviors to make sure that she did not blow her March budget.
- Natalie at The Finance Girl shared 10 habits that you should adopt.
- Wendy at Girl Meets Debt talked how goals are not etched in stone and sometimes you need to revise what your goals are for the year. And it was not personal finance related, but I LOVED her this or that post as well.
A special thank you to Shannon at The Heavy Purse for including my blog as one that you should follow to improve your financial literacy. With spring slowly starting to creep in, I have DIY on the brain so next week will be DIY week at Financially Blonde with some really great stuff thanks to my DIY hubby. What was your high from last week and what was your low?My answer - My high was an email from my son's teacher saying how proud she is of him and the work he is doing in class. My low was that I stepped on the scale and realized I need to get more serious about watching what I eat.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrHUD2XmLN4
