*Quick Note – For those of you who may have noticed, Financially Blonde, has been MIA for the past week because it was hacked. Working Moms and Margaritas
With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, I thought it would be fun to feature a working mom dialogue on my podcast today. For those of you who don’t know, I was raised by a working mom, and wrote a post about her on my blog. I still have no idea how my mom raised five kids and worked two and sometimes three jobs at a time. I learned the value of hard work from watching her, and I will always be thankful for that lesson.On the podcast today, I am talking to my working mom friend, Cat Alford, who is a successful solopreneuer, freelance writer, blog founder/owner (Budget Blonde and Red Debted Stepchild) and mom of 1-year old twins (AKA the Beans). I thought it would be fun to talk to Cat because we are at different stages of working mommyhood, with different jobs and we were both actually raised by working moms.I would just like to note that even though this is a conversation between two working moms, I tip my hat to all moms out there today, this Sunday and everyday. Motherhood is the hardest job you will ever love and whether you are a stay at home or a working mom, we all need to support each other. Hilary Clinton said years back that it “takes a village” to raise a child and she is right, but the village needs to start with a supportive network of other moms.So to all you moms and future moms out there, I salute you, I support you and I appreciate all that you do to raise caring, compassionate and wonderful children. Happy Mother’s Day!!!!

Juice from One Orange
2 teaspoons of Agave Nectar
